EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy

Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a therapeutic approach aimed at helping individuals process and recover from traumatic memories and distressing experiences.

The technique is built on the idea that trauma-related memories can get "stuck" in the brain, causing emotional and psychological issues.
During EMDR sessions, individuals focus on specific eye movements while recalling these memories. These repetitive movements can have a calming effect and help people change how they perceive themselves in relation to the trauma.

While EMDR is widely known for treating post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), it is also effective for other mental health conditions

Sessions
EMDR sessions tend to last longer than traditional therapy sessions (60mins - 90min)
