Appointments
Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) appointments with me typically involve virtual sessions held on a weekly or bi-weekly basis for 50 minutes. Usually recommendations for a course of treatment is for 6 to 20 CBT sessions, but the frequency and duration can be adjusted to meet your individual needs and progress.
The first session will consist of a full assessment of the your needs and goals for therapy. During this session, I will gather information about the your current symptoms, personal and medical history, and specific concerns. This information will be used to tailor the therapy to the your unique situation.
In subsequent sessions, I will work with you to identify and challenge negative thought patterns, develop coping skills, and set achievable goals for improving their mental health. Open and honest communication is key to ensure that you receive the best possible care and gets the most out of their CBT sessions.
